Current Research in Tennessee Archaeology

The 27th annual Current Research in Tennessee Archaeology meeting is coming up Saturday, January 24 in Nashville. The final program has just been released by the Tennessee Division of Archaeology, and is available in PDF format, either as a full size version or formatted for iPad. The schedule includes an exciting sample of the archaeological research taking place in Tennessee! Topics that will be presented span both the prehistoric and historic periods, ranging from recent Tennessee rock art discoveries to information on excavations of a mid-nineteenth century cemetery at the Nashville zoo.

The meeting is free and open to the public and will take place between 8 am and 5 pm at the Ed Jones Auditorium on the campus of the Ellington Agricultural Center in Nashville. We hope to see you there!
